Wanderly set out to solve a familiar travel problem β planning a trip usually means juggling several apps and browser tabs just to discover a destination, build an itinerary, and confirm a booking across separate services. The client wanted one connected platform where travelers could search, plan, and book without losing context between each step of the journey, from discovery to confirmation. They needed a mobile-first experience for customers on iOS and Android, backed by a web-based admin panel giving their operations team full control over bookings, users, and travel data.
Every trip detail had to live in one connected, organised system rather than scattered screens. The platform was also designed to support future growth with a scalable architecture that could handle increasing users and destinations. Real-time booking updates and centralized data management improved operational efficiency while reducing manual work.
The client had a concrete list of requirements that ruled out white-label rental scripts early β real-time fleet availability with double-booking protection, multi-attribute filtering, a full return verification workflow, and a proper customer web application rather than a repurposed mobile layout. None of it existed in the scripts they reviewed.
They also needed social login working consistently across all four surfaces sharing one authentication system. What gave them confidence was how specific our discovery questions were β about return verification, fleet documentation, and disputed-return handling β which told them we understood an admin panel here is a fleet management tool, not just a booking list.

This structured access model improves operational security, simplifies day-to-day management, and maintains accountability across every administrative action.
Customer and admin sessions run on JWT-secured API authentication, keeping access fast and consistent across the mobile apps and the web-based admin panel. Secure token validation, session management, and role-based authorization protect sensitive travel and account data while enabling seamless navigation across every platform. This authentication architecture delivers a reliable user experience without compromising performance or security.

We began by mapping how travelers actually move from destination discovery through itinerary planning to booking, studying real trip-planning behaviour to design a flow that matched genuine user needs rather than assumptions.
We designed a connected architecture linking the customer app, itinerary system, and admin panel around one shared booking and trip data layer, ensuring every screen stayed in sync with the same source of truth. This unified foundation enabled consistent updates, reduced data duplication, and maintained accuracy across every user interaction and administrative workflow.
